We had an amazing day doing the Puma Tracking tour! The tour guide Vicente was very knowledgeable about the national park, the pumas and many other animals. With a heat camera and a telescope that he brought we could find and see many pumas. And we also saw a lot of beautiful scenery. Highly recommended to take this tour!+2Posted on Google

A unique experience! The accommodation was in perfect condition, a quiet and safe place with an incredible view. The owners were attentive to every need and helpful at all times. In addition to the tour they offered us through Torres del Paine, we were able to see a puma just meters away. Highly recommended and you won't regret it. 10/10+0

Tour booked: Puma tracking tour Vincente was a great guide and passionate about pumas, that we managed to spot 2 pumas and a cub even! He searches the landscape with a thermal scanner, and once spotted, a telescope is set up where you can mount your phone on the telescope for easier viewing or to take pics or videos. Radio comms was employed to receive and also share sightings with others to maximise one's chances of spotting pumas. The 4x4 was comfortable and clean, and he had prepared sandwich, snacks and a choice of hot tea or coffee for the day. An extra treat was to learn about the park's puma names and traits, learning about guancanos behaviours, sharing pics and videos of previous puma sightings (including one with a Puma hunt) and spotting other wildlife in the mix, qhulst also having time to make scenic stops of Torres del Paine, especially at sunrise. The Puma tracking tour was truly a unique perspective to explore Patagonia!+11Posted on Google

The excursion was truly incredible—we had an amazing day. Vincente was highly knowledgeable and taught us so much, and we were lucky enough to see six pumas in a single day! He used infrared cameras to locate them, along with binoculars and a telescope for observation. We could even attach our phones to the scope to take photos. The 4x4 was very comfortable, and Vincente had thoughtfully prepared snacks and hot drinks. There were only three of us, which made the experience very high quality and personal. Highly recommended—don’t hesitate to book!Posted on Google

Vicente truly lives up to the name “puma whisperer”! He was the first guide to spot a puma in Torres del Paine, using impressive tracking technology that we could follow right on his iPad—such a cool and unique experience. Beyond the wildlife, Vicente made the entire day unforgettable with his incredible photography skills and thoughtful stops at some of the most breathtaking viewpoints along the way. He was very knowledgeable about the park, pumas, and other wildlife. Very enjoyable to be around! Also provided snacks, sandwiches, and even coffee as it was an early am start! If you’re hoping to see a puma and experience the park in a deeper, more meaningful way, Vicente is the guide you want. Absolutely a 5-star experience!Posted on Google

Vicente is the best tracking guide in the national park (my rating). He's a huge puma enthusiast and has a really nice puma tattoo. He's not only very knowledgeable about pumas, but also about other animals in the park. It was a perfect day—he picked me up from the hotel before dawn and spent the entire day driving and searching for pumas, barely resting. Then he spotted a mother and two babies at 500 meters away using thermal binoculars, and we took pictures and looked at them with a telephoto camera. His English is excellent, so communication wasn't a problem at all. Highly recommended. 😆😆😆 ⸻ Vicente is the best tracking guide I've met in the national park (at least in my opinion). He is truly passionate about pumas and even has a beautiful puma tattoo. Beyond pumas, he is also very knowledgeable about other wildlife in the park. We spent a perfect day together—he picked me up very early in the morning, and we spent almost the entire day driving and searching for pumas with barely any rest. Then, he located a mother puma with two cubs about 500 meters away using a thermal scope, and we were able to photograph them with a telephoto lens. It was a highly professional and unforgettable experience. His English is excellent, so communication is not an issue for international visitors. Highly recommended.👍👍👍+3

We had a wonderful day on our puma tour. We saw three pumas and learned a lot about them from Vicente. We also learned a great deal about the park and visited places like the Cascadas del Paine, which offers a fantastic view of the Torres del Paine. Overall, I highly recommend Al Sur and especially Vicente – I would definitely do it again!+7
